Jacob K. here,
ReplyDeleteI do believe it is possible, one possible source could be wind, the power of the turbines can be taken a long distance and Seattle is famous for it's weather!
Hmmm. I smell research. I challenge you to look into this, Jacob . . . just for the sheer joy of knowing, no grade attached. Report back. The wind idea sounds so interesting. And water also . . . we're surrounded by water!
ReplyDeleteSolar energy may not be the best idea . . . I don't know that we'd be able to store up enough energy to last us all the way to March in our long DRAUGHTS of SUNSHINE! (note the oxymoron)
I think this would be a great idea if someone came up with an answer to this, because schools have so much electric stuff on everyday.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it would be possible to run a school off of the garbage it poduces, because schools produce so much garbage, which is bad for the environment since it fills up landfills.
ReplyDeleteAnna has a good point. I wonder if it would be possible to run a school with no carbon footprint too. Another thing would be to run on treadmills for PE :)!
ReplyDeleteWell i think it may be possible but it would depend on the location for the type for example windy weather for wind ower and hydro power fround a river.
